Rifugio Tissi

Rifugio Tissi offers trekkers stunning views of Lake Alleghe and the towering Dolomite peaks. Known for its warm hospitality provided by Paola and Valter, this hut is a cherished stop along the Alta Via 1. Named for the mountaineer Attilio Tisso, this refuge is owned by the Italian Alpine Club and can accommodate hikers in dormitory-style sleeping accommodations as well as rooms that sleep up to four people.

Passo Duran

Rifugio "C. Tomè" serves as a welcoming haven for adventurers exploring the magnificent Dolomites. Established in 1952 by the Italian Alpine Club and dedicated to the renowned mountaineer Cesare Tomè, this refuge is now managed by the family of Soro Dorotei, a celebrated Alpine guide from Belluno. This accommodation offers 25 beds in comfortable rooms and features a restaurant serving traditional dishes.

Pian de Fontana

Located in Bellunesi Dolomitesi National Park this refuge used to be a cattle shelter and was repurposed to give Alta Via 1 hikers a place to eat and rest their heads. Accommodations include dormitories with 24 beds as well as lunch bags with sandwiches and snacks to feed hungry hikers.
